when i was a kid and stayed with my grandparents, we had two choice for breakfast: cereal and oatmeal with raisins
that was literally the only time that i would eat cooked oatmeal until this year.
i decided to channel that first experience of oatmeal now that i eat it almost every single day… but of course i had to up the level a little bit. i couldn’t just do oatmeal with raisins
childhood chocolate oatmeal raisin oatmeal:
1 cup almond milk
1/2 cup oats
2 tsp sweetener
1 tsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 tbs raisins
cook the oatmeal like usual and then add the toppings. mine were chocolate chips, greek yogurt, and sunbutter🥰
so good!!
